Be Strong in the Lord

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power” (Ephesians 6:10 NIV).

What a mighty God we serve. He is the Creator of heaven and earth. He is the Giver of life to all humans. And he’s always in control. When things are going right in your life, he’s there. When things are going wrong in your life, he’s there. “When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other” (Ecclesiastes 7:14 NIV). Our God is good, all the time. If things aren’t going as you planned, it’s time to consider God’s plans for you. God is love, and he loves us unconditionally. He knows our faults and will guide us into the paths that are right. Take heed to God’s warnings, brothers and sisters. He will discipline those he loves.

Our fight is not against God. Our fight is against Satan. He is a murderer, a liar and the destroyer. Satan was an angel in heaven. He was called “morning star, son of the dawn” (Isaiah 14:12 NIV). He deceived himself and other angels into believing they could overthrow God’s sovereignty. For this, he was thrown out of heaven. God said, “Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings” (Ezekiel 28:17 NIV). Amen, My God! Do not be deceived brothers and sisters, Satan is still pretending to be an angel of light as he tempts God’s people to do evil. “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:11 NIV). Our God is mighty and he is with us.

Our fight is not against each other. Our fight is against Satan. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand” (Ephesians 6:12 NIV). Understand this, Satan’s only goal is to destroy what God has created. “Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace” (Ephesians 6:13-15 NIV). The Gospel of Jesus Christ is our truth and our peace. Christ is the beginning and the end. Through him, we have eternal life. Amen, thank God for Jesus.”In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:16-17 NIV). Brothers and sisters, our faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our Savior, and he gave us a helper. The Spirit will remind us of the faithfulness of God throughout generations. “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people” (Ephesians 6:18 NIV). Brother and sisters, I pray you are strengthened. I pray God’s good and perfect will over your life. I pray you wear the full armor of God daily to cast down all demons. God is with us.
